I found several tips from the video very useful. First, having a solid body of work that reflects your personal style seems essential before approaching galleries. I also liked the advice about creating a professional online portfolio or website, because it adds legitimacy and makes your art easy to view. The tip about researching galleries carefully—making sure your style and price range fit theirs—seems very practical and time-saving. I also appreciated the advice on writing short, clear, and professional emails when contacting galleries. Finally, the reminder not to get discouraged if galleries don’t respond right away is helpful; persistence and consistency in improving your craft are key. Overall, these tips give a realistic roadmap for starting a career in art.

From the video, I learned that getting art into galleries takes time and preparation. The creator recommends starting by developing a strong and cohesive body of 10–12 artworks. Before reaching out to galleries, artists should continue learning new skills and practising regularly, because galleries value artists who are reliable, professional, and consistent. To present oneself professionally, having a clear and well-organized online portfolio is essential. Additionally, the video suggests creating a personal website on a private domain for credibility and safety.Once the work is ready, galleries should be approached carefully and professionally via email.A particularly thoughtful suggestion is to contact galleries that align with your style and artistic values. Finally, the creator encourages artists not to be discouraged by rejection or silence, which I found especially motivating for young artists.

Personally i found a lot of usefull tips on how to get your art in galleries such as having a solid body of work that contains a dozen of artworks that reflect your artstyle and personalit before you even think about reaching out to a gallery. It also really helps if your artworks seem marketable, they need to be apealling to sellers. The last thing you must do before you reach out is to create an online portofolio such as a custom website where you can display information about yourseld and images ofyour art. She also makes good points about what gallery to aproach, you need to look into galleries that display art in similar styles and also are in a favourable price range. The last but most important information I got from this is writing your emails to such galleries in the most formal and professional way:short clean and straight to the point. All of these tips are very usefull to an artist that is at the start of their career such as myself. I really hope that what i learned from this video is going to come in handy later down the line.

I found a few tips in the video to be very useful. The first was the importance of having a consistent body of work that I can show to galleries. This helps demonstrate that I am a trustworthy artist they can confidently work with. Another tip was to start selling my own art pieces before applying to a gallery, as this reassures them that my work already has an existing market. The biggest improvement I can make to my art career, based on what I learned from the video, is to create a website with my own domain name. Having a website makes my work easily accessible to institutions or potential buyers who want to see more of my work or learn more about me as an artist. These tips are especially helpful for artists who are just starting out, as they helped me better understand how galleries think when hiring artists.

  5. One tip I found helpful is that galleries may not respond immediately. It reminded me that patience and persistence are part of the process, and improving my work consistently is just as important as showing it.
Another tip is researching galleries carefully. Approaching ones that fit my style and price range saves time and increases the chance of being noticed.
Creating an online portfolio or a personal website was also useful advice. It makes my work easy to view and shows that I am professional and organized.
I also learned that having a solid body of work is essential before reaching out. Showing a consistent style and effort makes galleries understand what I can offer.
Finally, writing short, clear, and professional emails is important. Even though it seems simple, it can affect how galleries respond and how they perceive me as an artist.

The tips I found most useful in the video are those related to professionalism and preparation. I believe that researching galleries before approaching them is essential, as it shows respect for their artistic vision and increases the chances of acceptance. Another valuable suggestion is the importance of presenting artwork professionally, especially through high-quality photographs. The emphasis on building genuine relationships with gallery owners and curators also stood out to me, because success in the art world often depends on communication and trust. Finally, the advice to be patient and persistent is particularly relevant, as it highlights that achieving recognition takes time and continuous effort.

The video explains that entering the gallery world is a gradual process that requires patience and solid preparation. Artists are encouraged to build a coherent portfolio of around 10–12 strong works before approaching galleries. Continuous practice and skill development are essential, as galleries look for artists who are consistent, professional, and dependable. A polished online presence plays a key role, especially a well-structured portfolio and a personal website hosted on a private domain, which adds credibility. When the work is ready, galleries should be contacted in a respectful and professional manner, usually via email. It is also important to research and approach spaces that truly resonate with your artistic vision. Lastly, the video reminds artists that rejection or lack of response is normal and should not be taken personally, but seen as part of the journey.

  8. The tips I found most useful in the video were about building a strong portfolio and being professional when sharing your art. I liked how the speaker explained that galleries want to clearly understand your style, so only showing your best work is important. The advice about researching galleries before contacting them also made sense because not every gallery fits every artist. Another helpful tip was about not giving up after rejection, since it is a normal part of being an artist. Overall, the tips felt realistic and encouraging, especially for students who want to take art seriously in the future.

    1. Whenever you start working on your art craft, make sure you choose your style and what you want to paint and then paint all day every day.
    2. When you have at least 10 works of art painted, try and build a WordPress based website that presents your works.
    3. Pay for a private domain registration, it makes your personal brand more approachable and easier to find.
    4. When you have your website built, you can start reaching out to galleries.
    5. Make sure you find galleries that are on the same style to yours.
    6. You can write an email, but be on point and don't write your life story in the e-mail.
    7. It is good to follow artists on social media that do art shows.
    8. If you don't get an answer in about a week, write a follow-up email.
    9. Don't give up if you don't get an answer from a couple of galleries. You have to do this consistently. You will eventually get your chance.
